We also discuss a third component of the WebEQ suite, the Input Control, which is an applet for authoring and editing equations in a Web page.Ī key feature of WebEQ is that it includes a set of JavaScript and DOM APIs for scripting the Viewer Control and Input Control applets. In this section, we look at some additional features of the Editor and Viewer Control that are relevant for creating interactive mathematical content. In Section 9.3, we discussed the use of the WebEQ Editor (for authoring MathML equations) and the WebEQ Viewer Control (for displaying the equations in a Web page).
